Privacy notice
This notice explains how NIDAL handles guardian and participant information for the 17 October 2026 drawing competition.

What we collect
We collect guardian account details and contact information, the participant’s name, date of birth, school, grade and location, registration and payment status, and the event photos and video that the guardian submits. Razorpay processes payment information; NIDAL receives the transaction result and related references, not your full card credentials.
Optional profile picture
A guardian may add a profile picture in Manage Profile. Cropping happens in the browser; the saved square picture is stored privately under the signed-in account and is not published in the community, public pages or search listings. Adding a picture is optional and does not affect entry. Contact support to request its removal.
Why we use it
We use these details to create and secure the account, administer registration and payment, confirm event participation, review the required submissions, prevent misuse, and contact the guardian about event operations, results, certificates, prizes and promised mentorship. We do not publish event media through this website.
Optional course and mentorship updates
NIDAL will send promotional information to a parent or guardian only if that adult separately opts in on the profile form. The choice is optional and does not affect entry. It covers guardian contact details for NIDAL course, future mentorship and related offer updates; it is not permission to target advertising at a child. To withdraw or change the choice, email nischay@nidal.tech.
Storage and access
Competition account records and private event files are stored in NIDAL’s Firebase project using Google Cloud infrastructure. Access controls limit records to the guardian’s signed-in account and authorized NIDAL staff who need them to run the competition. We use these controls to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage service can be guaranteed completely risk-free.
Service providers and community
Google Firebase/Google Cloud provides hosting, authentication, database and private file storage. Razorpay processes registration payments. WhatsApp operates its own community service and privacy terms when a guardian chooses to join. These providers process information under their own terms and policies.
Retention and requests
NIDAL retains information for as long as it is needed to administer the competition, resolve payment or review questions, provide promised participant benefits, and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. A parent or guardian may ask about, correct, or request deletion of information by emailing nischay@nidal.tech. Some records may need to be retained where required to resolve a dispute, payment matter or legal obligation.
Children’s information
A parent or legal guardian must complete registration and authorize the child’s participation. The guardian separately confirms consent before event photos or video are uploaded. Please contact NIDAL support with any question about a child’s information or the guardian’s consent choices.
